Hello RangefinderFilipinas!

I'm Nathan Ng, and I just love taking pictures. Just an amateur at best, and probably won't go pro. I shoot digital most of the time (because of cost of film+developing+scanning) but I do have experience shooting with film. Took a class in UP Diliman just for kicks, after finding my lolo's Nikon F somewhere around their house...so yes I do shoot with a film SLR. But!

I'm currently looking for an affordable fixed lens rangefinder to start (around 2000 - 2500 budget), and so I can relate more with you guys in this group hehe. Do you have any suggestions/advice? Thank you!

almost all of us started with yashica GSN rangefinder.

IMO, very easy to operate, takes decent picture. most of all, swak sa budget.

If you buy a Yashica from a Lomographer group or seller, expect to pay a lot. 

If you buy it from a more realistic seller, it shouldn't cost more than your stated budget.

There are other cameras than the Yashica GSN.  Your Nikon F is good enough to start with.

Are you looking for a metered or non-metered camera?

If you can learn the basics of sunny 16 then you'd have much cheaper options  Wink
